OUR STORY
We started EDU HUB TUTORING with one mission: to help students unlock their academic potential through personalized, high-quality tutoring.
I’ve always had a deep passion for teaching. In fact, I started tutoring when I was just in Year 8!
While completing my Masters in Professional Accounting at Macquarie University, I worked at a tutoring centre. Within a short time, I was promoted to Senior Teacher because of the positive feedback from both parents and the centre’s principal. I was also tutoring OC students privately—students who would later play a huge part in changing the course of my life.
After finishing my Masters, I began my full-time career as an Accountant. With the students I taught now done with their exams—and living far from where I worked—I stepped back from tutoring and focused on my accounting career… completely unaware that my future still held something much closer to my heart: teaching.
Then something amazing happened. The OC results came out.

). If you know the Australian curriculum, you know how tough it is to crack OC exams. That’s when I started receiving call after call—referrals, queries, requests—but I kept saying “no”, not knowing how I’d manage with my job.Inside, I felt a deep sadness turning students away from what I truly loved.
I kept teaching some students from my Blacktown home. But interest kept growing—especially from the Campbelltown area, where I had already said no to many. One day, I told my husband:
“What if we rented a small space and started tutoring on weekends?”
And that’s how Edu Hub was born—from a tiny idea, with no students enrolled yet. I signed the rental agreement and started with zero. But when I posted our launch on Facebook, guess what?
We opened with 10 students that first weekend!

Today, Edu Hub has over 70 students, a passionate team of teachers, and a growing marketing team.

Then came COVID. We quickly moved online. At first, we were unsure. But parents loved the flexibility and students continued thriving. Even after restrictions eased, many students chose to stay online. And now? We proudly teach students across Australia—all online!
Then came another turning point:
Motherhood.
With OC and Selective exams around the corner and assignments due, I couldn’t bear to let my students down. With the incredible support of parents and my passion driving me, I continued teaching right up to the day before delivery—then took just 4 days off before I was back tutoring from home (baby in arms
).

).Eventually, the travel between Blacktown and Minto got tough with my little one. So I followed my heart and shifted focus fully to Edu Hub. We moved closer to the centre and and we extended our home in Minto to turn it into my dream learning space — the one you see in these photos. Some of my old students from Blacktown still travel here for face-to-face lessons, while most have transitioned beautifully to online.
Just last week, I renovated my “happy place” into a warm, welcoming classroom—the one you see in the pictures. I can’t even describe how much joy I get from watching my students grow, improve, and achieve.
Edu Hub isn’t just my tutoring centre—it’s my world.
